About the role
- Coordinates contributions from Legal, Business Development, Finance, Project Management, and Functional Area Management teams to review and develop proposals and budgets.
- Leads designated cross-functional review team, carries out vision and strategic objectives.
- Recommends courses of action on salary administration, interviewing and selection.
- Acts as an ambassador for the team and owns a function under the leadership of the Head of Proposals and Contracts.
- Develops long-term initiatives based on business unit/team priorities.
- Ensures high quality and timely delivery through direct involvement on key deliverables.
- Actively participates in training and mentoring of junior staff and manages their workload.
- Communicates and enforces departmental processes and policies.
- Works with the management team to streamline budget and proposal tools.
- Participates in departmental initiatives and attends client meetings as needed.
Requirements
- University Degree in scientific and/or business/communication and/or similar discipline.
- Previous CRO experience is required.
- Minimum of 10 years leading business development deliverables for CRO/Pharmaceutical or Med Device industries at a global level, or commensurate experience.
- Experience in line management preferred.
- Fluent in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel.
