About the role
- Define and establish Delinea’s “voice” and writing style, ensuring consistency across all external channels.
- Own content strategy and editorial direction aligned to ICP, personas, use cases, and GTM priorities. Build content programs that drive measurable outcomes across the funnel: From awareness to consideration to evaluation to conversion.
- Lead flagship narratives: pillar pages, POV/positioning, category thought leadership, research, and executive content.
- Partner with Demand Gen to create campaign content that increases account engagement and meetings. Utilize internal and external resources to create a range of content formats that answer buyer questions, including blogs, whitepapers, case studies, videos, and more.
- Partner with Product Marketing to translate technical capabilities into clear messaging and high-converting assets.
- Deliver sales enablement content that supports pipeline progression: battlecards, competitive pages, solution briefs, case studies, decks, talk tracks.
- Build a scalable production system: editorial calendar, briefs, SME review, brand voice, compliance/legal workflows, and repurposing.
- Measure performance and optimize: attribution, content-to-pipeline analysis, conversion rates, and content refresh strategy.
- Manage and mentor a team (plus agencies/freelancers), setting quality standards and operational cadence.
Requirements
- 8–12+ years in content marketing (with 3–5+ years leading teams), ideally in B2B enterprise SaaS.
- Track record driving pipeline impact, not just engagement—comfortable with attribution and funnel metrics.
- Strong editorial leadership: positioning, storytelling, executive-level writing, and sharp messaging instincts.
- Experience creating content for complex buyers and buying groups (e.g., security/IT/ops/compliance).
- Proven cross-functional partner with Demand Gen, Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer teams.
- Operational excellence: can run a content calendar, manage SMEs, and ship consistently.
- Comfortable managing budgets and external resources (agencies, freelancers, vendors).
- Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment, with a collaborative mindset and strong organizational skills.
Benefits
- healthcare insurance
- pension/retirement matching
- comprehensive life insurance
- employee assistance program
