About the role

  • Conduct outbound prospecting efforts, including cold calls, emails, and social media outreach, to generate qualified leads.
  • Qualify leads based on defined criteria and hand them off to the sales team.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and activities in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Attend team meetings and training sessions to learn about the company’s products, services, and target markets.
  • Help to drive attendance to local events and jointly work with marketing and sales on local events.
  • Support other sales initiatives and projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A self-starter with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
  • Comfortable engaging with potential customers via phone, email, and social media.
  • Ability to stay organized and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in sales, technology, and/or cybersecurity.
  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, or sales (e.g., internships, part-time roles, or academic projects) preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM software, such as Salesforce or HubSpot preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic sales principles and prospecting techniques preferred.
