About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Proactively identify and originate new sales prospects aligned with Climate Bonds’ priorities and commercial service offerings
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective leads across target segments, including banks, asset managers and asset owners
  • Engagements should be anchored on advancing prospects and conversations to mature stage of negotiations that can be realistically converted into sales.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of sustainable finance trends, regulatory developments, and evolving market practices
  • Ability to project manage and effectively lead end-to-end sales process, from initial outreach and relationship development to negotiation and deal closure
  • Diligently track pipeline performance, maintain accurate reporting on Dynamics

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 5+ years of work experience
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in English
  • The ability to deliver professional and persuasive presentations and build long term client relationships
  • Strong client servicing, consultative sales, and overall strong commercial skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively across product and sales teams
