About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Event Structure and Governance: Design, map, and maintain the product event architecture (tracking plan), ensuring consistency, reliability, and governance of behavioral data.
  • User Lifecycle Analysis: Conduct exploratory and diagnostic analyses focused on conversion funnels, engagement, new feature usage behavior, activation, and retention (cohorts).
  • Dashboard Creation: Build and maintain automated dashboards and performance reports to provide clear, reliable visibility into product metrics.
  • Data Integration: Combine event and navigation data with business information such as plans, segments, account age, churn, and revenue (SaaS metrics).
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work collaboratively with Product teams (PMs), Design (UX/UI), Engineering, and leadership to prioritize problems and identify opportunities to improve the customer journey.
  • Data Culture: Support the evolution from a fragmented or reactive analytics culture to a model focused on diagnostic and predictive analyses and experimentation.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a field with a strong analytical/mathematical emphasis (such as Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Administration, Economics) or degree in another field with proven experience developing quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Advanced SQL: Full proficiency for extracting, manipulating large datasets, and complex modeling.
  • Product Analytics Tools: Solid hands-on experience with event and product behavior tracking tools (such as PostHog, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Google Analytics 4).
  • Behavioral Profile: Analytical, organized, detail-oriented, curious, and fully data-driven.
  • Executive Communication: Ability to synthesize technical information and complex behavioral data for non-technical audiences, supporting strategic decisions by Product teams and executive leadership.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to decompose complex business problems into measurable variables and solve issues quickly.
