About the role

  • **You Will: (Responsibilities)**
  • **Technical Leadership:** Lead complex Data Science projects, making critical decisions and ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
  • **Problem Solving:** Translate ambiguous business needs into well-defined data science problems, identifying opportunities to apply advanced Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Generative AI solutions.
  • **Model Development:** Design, implement, and optimize predictive and prescriptive models (such as optimization, classification, regression, and deep learning) to solve specific problems and enhance our processes.
  • **Innovation with Generative AI:** Apply and experiment with Generative Artificial Intelligence to create new business opportunities and disruptive solutions.
  • **Model Lifecycle Management:** Ensure the delivery of high-performance data products, from data collection and identification of data sources to evaluation, validation, tuning, and continuous monitoring of models in production.
  • **High-Impact Communication:** Communicate results, insights, and strategic recommendations clearly and effectively to stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • **Cross-functional Collaboration:** Work closely with data engineering teams, business analysts, and developers to ensure integration, feasibility, and scalability of solutions.

Requirements

  • **Proven Experience:** Strong experience leading large-scale Data Science projects, from conception through implementation and maintenance.
  • **Machine Learning Proficiency:** Expertise in developing and deploying a variety of models (classical Machine Learning, Deep Learning) and statistical algorithms.
  • **AI Innovation:** Practical experience or strong knowledge of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI/LLMs) and its application to solving business problems.
  • **Architecture and Engineering:** Knowledge of AWS tools to put AI and ML projects into production.
  • **Strategic and Business Vision:** Ability to translate business challenges into technical work plans, manage stakeholder expectations, and influence the company's data strategy.
  • **Communication Skills:** Excellent ability to present complex technical concepts, results, and recommendations to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
  • **Collaborative Mindset:** Experience working with interdisciplinary teams, fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation.
  • **Curiosity and Continuous Learning:** Passion for staying current with the latest research and techniques in ML, DL, and AI, bringing innovation into the team.
