Analyst

• Calculate and determine taxes due by the company, such as IR, CSLL, PIS, COFINS, ISS, and others.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and ensure taxes are correctly calculated and paid.
• Perform monitoring, analysis, and accounting reconciliation of taxes and expenses.
• Prepare and submit ancillary tax filings required by tax authorities, such as EFD PIS/COFINS, EFD-Reinf, ECF, among others.
• Ensure the compliance of these filings, following the rules and deadlines established by the competent authorities.
• Analyze and control fiscal documents, such as incoming and outgoing invoices (Notas Fiscais), receipts, vouchers, and others.
• Provide support and guidance to the accounting and finance team on tax-related matters.
• Assist in analyzing tax impacts on commercial transactions.
• Provide support during tax audits or inspections carried out by tax authorities.
• Participate in matters related to the Lei do Bem (Brazilian R&D tax incentive law).
• Collaborate in reviewing the company’s accounting procedures and internal controls.
• Work closely with other financial areas, such as treasury, accounts payable, and others.
