Business Intelligence Developer

• Partner with stakeholders to understand business questions, reporting needs, and decision points.
• Gather and clarify requirements, asking follow-up questions to define the right analytical approach.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and self-service BI content in Looker.
• Contribute to Looker modeling layer, including dimensions, measures, definitions, and usability.
• Write SQL for analysis, validation, reporting logic, and business logic used to support production data models.
• Perform ad hoc analysis to answer questions not covered by standard reporting.
• Identify trends, explain performance changes, and communicate practical insights and recommendations.
• Partner with Data Engineering to define business logic, validate data structures, and troubleshoot data issues.
• Help maintain consistent metric definitions, reporting logic, and documentation.
• Support business users in understanding reports, metrics, and available data.
• Use AI-assisted coding and analytics tools where appropriate, while applying judgment and business context to validate outputs.
