About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate a diverse portfolio of virtual and onsite CME and non-CME educational programs in digestive health
- Manage complex projects, scheduling, event timelines and program deadlines
- Identify operational improvement opportunities and streamline workflows
- Coordinate and document meetings
- Research, analyze and organize information for presentations
- Develop communications, databases and budget summaries
- Assist with presentations, data analysis and large, complicated projects
- Initiate or lead moderately complex projects
- Coordinate virtual education programming, including Hereditary LIVE and MILESTONE APP Journal Club
- Coordinate onsite dinner events, including APP Journal Club and Neuro GI Citywide Rounds
- Collaborate on hands-on labs, fundraising, marketing and faculty travel for onsite events
- Coordinate APP/PharmD IBD Immersion Programs and regularly scheduled educational series
- Communicate with activity directors, guest faculty, registrants and CME representatives
- Secure sponsorships and grant funding
- Develop and coordinate program marketing, including e-promotions and social media
- Evaluate programs and assess outcomes for continuous improvement
- Support the CME Manager and leadership with planning, funding, execution and reconciliation of educational programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree and four years of financial, business analysis or project management experience OR High School Diploma/GED and eight years of experience OR Associate’s Degree and six years of experience OR Master’s degree and three years of experience
- Strong computer skills and experience with software applications
- May require a license based on department/institute needs
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Experience in social media marketing preferred
- Must reside in the greater Northeast Ohio (NEO) area
- Must comply with controlled-substance testing after an offer of employment
- Must comply with Cleveland Clinic’s influenza prevention program, including annual vaccination or an approved exemption
- High degree of dexterity to operate office equipment
- Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods as required
- Good visual acuity through normal or corrected vision
- Follow standard precautions and use personal protective equipment as required
