About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat adult patients with various sleep disorders
- Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations
- Initiate appropriate lab, radiology tests, and special tests
- Collaborate with the health care team
- Educate patients about their disease and treatments
- Participate in quality monitoring of patient outcomes
- Conduct research studies and assist in data collection and analysis
Requirements
What you’ll need- APRN: MSN required upon hire or within 3 years
- Graduate of an accredited APRN program
- PA: Graduate of an A.R.C. approved PA Program
- Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in applicable state(s)
- National certification as a Nurse Practitioner by nationally accredited organization
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) may be required
- Related clinical experience preferred.
- Must have arrangements with at least one physician according to State Board of Nursing requirements
