Advanced Practice Provider, PA, NP, CNS – Hematology Oncology II PRN

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide primary and/or specialty care in healthcare settings
- Collaborate with healthcare team in accordance with certification and licensure
- Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations
- Participate in tumor board, medical team rounds, and documentation
- Educate patients about disease, treatments, and side effects
- Ensure continuity of care and participate in quality monitoring
Requirements
What you’ll need- Nationally certified Advanced Practice Provider (PA, NP, CNS)
- Oncology APP experience preferred
- Must be licensed as an RN in applicable state(s)
- National certification by accredited organization recognized by state Board of Nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) may be required
- Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) requires specific certifications and arrangements with a physician
- Experience in hematology/oncology preferred
