Assist with writing letters, scripts and reports for target audiences including donors, prospects, physicians, patients and Foundations.
Contribute to written and visual content on healthcare programs, medical research and Cleveland Clinic initiatives for current and prospective donors.
Synthesize content into compelling, donor-centric materials that align with the tone and brand of Cleveland Clinic.
Write, edit, proofread and package both internal and external communications for the Philanthropy Institute.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all internal and external deadlines are met.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum of 1 year of writing experience required, preferably in a non-profit setting.
Excellent written communication and organizational skills.
Ability to excel in a highly interactive, dynamic team environment.
Experience in creating communications strategies and implementing communications plans.
Maintains relationships and collaborates with all necessary partners and clients while maintaining a high level of customer service and satisfaction and anticipating the needs of internal and external clients.

Demonstrated experience with writing and securing nonprofit grants (preferred)
Experience with scientific and/or medical research terminology and grant writing (preferred)
