About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work alongside passionate caregivers and provide patient-first healthcare
  • Use x-ray equipment to obtain images of the body interpreted by a Radiologist
  • Prepare patients for exams
  • Operate equipment and obtain high-quality images while minimizing radiation dose
  • Perform lab duties such as phlebotomy and testing
  • Perform general radiology exams, portable exams, and fluoroscopic procedures
  • Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams
  • Maintain documentation and address equipment malfunctions
  • Assist with scheduling procedures and monitoring patient priority

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and in good standing
  • Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross
  • Knowledge of anatomy and related pathologic processes
  • One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist (preferred)
  • Experience with phlebotomy (preferred)
  • Experience with lab testing including CLIA waived tests (preferred)
