About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work alongside passionate caregivers and provide patient-first healthcare
- Use x-ray equipment to obtain images of the body interpreted by a Radiologist
- Prepare patients for exams
- Operate equipment and obtain high-quality images while minimizing radiation dose
- Perform lab duties such as phlebotomy and testing
- Perform general radiology exams, portable exams, and fluoroscopic procedures
- Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams
- Maintain documentation and address equipment malfunctions
- Assist with scheduling procedures and monitoring patient priority
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and in good standing
- Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross
- Knowledge of anatomy and related pathologic processes
- One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist (preferred)
- Experience with phlebotomy (preferred)
- Experience with lab testing including CLIA waived tests (preferred)
