About the role
- Evaluate and treat patients with physical, emotional, cognitive and/or psychosocial deficits
- Assess patient's ability to perform independent living skills
- Design the appropriate plan of care
- Implement the treatment plan using appropriate modalities
- Document patient progress and modify care plan as needed
- Educate patient and family about care
- Oversee care provided by certified therapy assistants
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Graduate of an Occupational Therapy Program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association
- Current Ohio licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
