Clinical Systems Analyst I

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supports pharmacy informatics and electronic health record (EHR) operations across Cleveland Clinic’s ambulatory, community, and specialty pharmacy environments
- Partners with pharmacy, clinical, operational, and information technology teams to support and optimize EPIC Willow Ambulatory functionality and pharmacy-related workflows
- Builds, maintains, and enhances EHR applications that support medication dispensing and pharmacy operations
- Troubleshoots system issues, analyzes workflows, and identifies opportunities for process improvement
- Participates in system upgrades, testing, implementations, and ongoing optimization initiatives while providing end-user support and education
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and one year of applicable hospital/major medical center/major clinical information system experience OR High School Diploma/GED, one year of relevant experience and four years of healthcare IT experience OR and one year of relevant experience, plus an additional two years of healthcare IT experience can substitute for work experience
- Experience typically supported by a license in a medically related field, such as Nursing, Pharmacy Assisting, Medical Assisting, Medical Technology or EMT
- Technical certification for certain departments
- Familiarity with the processes and procedures related to healthcare regulatory agencies
- In-depth knowledge of clinical theory and practice
