About the role
- Help patients regain health and independence through occupational therapy services
- Focus on upper body strength, fine and gross motor coordination
- Provide evaluation for clients not limited to joint assessment and functional abilities
- Develop and implement treatment plans for clients
- Utilize physical agent modalities and custom splints
- Communicate effectively with care teams, families, and referring physicians
- Assist with Industrial Service Department clients
Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s and/or Doctoral Degree from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy
- Occupational Therapy (OT) license in the State of Florida
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
- Internship experience
- Ability to lift and carry equipment, supplies, and materials up to 50 pounds
- Reasoning, mathematical and English language skills
