About the role
- Lead and manage projects involving design, development, testing, and implementation of automated systems.
- Assist with planning, estimating, and improving systems.
- Identify training needs for users and team members.
- Suggest both automated and manual solutions to improve system performance.
- Coordinate on-site systems administration and support activities.
- Interact with end-users as required to assist in problem definition and system design.
- Coordinate and conduct education and end-user training programs to assure systems are utilized as designed.
- Develop end-user documentation or a permanent reference for clear, concise information.
- Assist with system build, data validation and system testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field with five years of hospital or major medical center clinical experience or three years of recent experience implementing and supporting a major clinical information system OR High School Diploma and 8 years of experience OR Associate’s degree and seven years of experience, OR Masters degree and 4 years of experience
- License in a medically related field such as nursing, pharmacy assistant, medical assistant, medical technology or EMT
- ITIL Foundations Certification upon or within six months of hire
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, communication, problem solving and relationship building skills
- Cupid or Radiant certification is required
