About the role
- Evaluate and treat patients with physical, emotional, cognitive and/or psychosocial deficits
- Assess patient 's ability to safely and effectively perform independent living skills
- Design the appropriate plan of care, including type and frequency of treatment
- Implement the treatment plan using appropriate modalities
- Educate the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits
- Direct and supervise the activities of support personnel
- Act as a clinical instructor or participate in the education and evaluation of students
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Graduate of an Occupational Therapy Program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association
- Current Ohio Licensure as Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare providers
- Experience as a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) highly preferred
