Be accountable for at least 1 and support multiple projects in our portfolio.
Work and collaborate with cross-functional teams and independently in many areas of Finance including strategic/financial planning, financial reporting, revenue cycle, pricing, research, etc.
Supervise and lead financial analysts in support of Finance Leadership to accomplish department objectives.
Identify benchmarks in financial performance, hospital throughput, cost per case, length of stay and productivity metrics.
Assist in preparation of financial presentations as necessary to review operating performance and present findings to Finance and CCIEM leadership.
Support new staff recruitment, variance analyses, and lead review meetings.
Work with the revenue cycle staff to ensure maximum reimbursement and adherence to revenue cycle related policies.
Analyze variances and initiate corrective actions.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree
Five to six years of professional and functionally relevant experience, inclusive of demonstrated project or people leadership.
In lieu of a degree, extensive experience and or certifications may be considered.
Strong healthcare financial acumen
Experience at a large health system working with clinical and financial data
Demonstrates professional presence when engaging with physicians, operations and finance leadership
Strong in Excel, PowerPoint and hospital systems like Oracle, Strata, Epic, etc.
