About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute manual tests on software applications to ensure the product meets specified requirements.
- Develop and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-organized test plans, test cases, and test results.
- Identify, record, document, and track any issues and improvements.
- Communicate findings clearly and concisely to developers and stakeholders.
- Work closely with development teams to understand product changes and new features.
- Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities are not adversely affected by new changes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Familiarity in manual testing.
- Experience at a SaaS company in a customer facing role.
- Knowledge of basic testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Ability to work with databases and execute simple SQL queries.
- Familiarity with task tracking software.
- Exposure to automation tools (preferred but not required).
