About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute manual tests on software applications to ensure the product meets specified requirements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-organized test plans, test cases, and test results.
  • Identify, record, document, and track any issues and improvements.
  • Communicate findings clearly and concisely to developers and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with development teams to understand product changes and new features.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities are not adversely affected by new changes.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Familiarity in manual testing.
  • Experience at a SaaS company in a customer facing role.
  • Knowledge of basic testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Ability to work with databases and execute simple SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with task tracking software.
  • Exposure to automation tools (preferred but not required).
