About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plays a crucial role in enhancing system's automation, speed, accuracy, and workflow
- Employs tools such as Excel, SQL, VBA, and Python to collect and analyze data
- Resolves issues and discrepancies, improving efficiency in onboarding client data
- Collaborates with development teams to devise strategies that simplify processes and cut down delivery times
- Loads and validates client data into Clearwater's investment account system
- Applies understanding of the accounting equation, amortization, interest income, and other accounting concepts
- Identifies opportunities for improvement and leads solutions for continuous service improvement
- Coordinates complex activities in a dynamic and agile environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's & Master's in finance or math, accounting, economics
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with SQL or other relational databases
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Securities or financial markets knowledge, especially involving derivatives, alternatives, structured products, and/or fixed income
- Project Management Skills (ex. workstream lead)
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and math expertise.
