About the role

  • Collaborate and communicate with various product teams, BA’s, testers, etc. to understand product features
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and product teams to decompose large epic stories into features and user stories that can be understood and approved by members of the development team
  • Lead/facilitate product backlog refinement
  • Provide support to the Product Owner with backlog prioritization, feature sequencing and organization, user acceptance testing, etc.
  • Build trust and respect, establish relationships, and develop rapport with technical and non-technical team members

Requirements

  • 1+ year of recent experience in a Product Owner role plus 3+ years of previous hands-on technical experience in a cloud environment
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies: AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Able to read architecture diagrams and break down infrastructure work into user stories
  • 3+ years working in an agile environment, strong agile mindset
  • Self-starter with focus on PEOPLE and BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS
  • Be committed to product, able to offer alternative solutions when appropriate
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field (preferred but not required)
  • Technical certification in a cloud technology: AWS, Azure, GCP (preferred but not required)
  • CSPO, CSM, or related Scrum certifications (preferred but not required)
  • SAFe knowledge (preferred but not required)
