About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Meet with commercial and industrial business owners and operators
Install energy efficiency measures
Conduct energy efficiency audits
Perform pre- and post-installation verifications
Gather technical data throughout a defined territory
Travel daily throughout the defined territory
Conduct entry-level commercial energy audits for small and mid-sized facilities
Explain program offerings to customers and contractors, encourage participation, and address basic questions
Document inspections, installations, and customer interactions according to program requirements
Perform on-site installation of energy efficiency measures using basic tools and physical labor
Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate basic technical or installation issues
Work in the field servicing customers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in industries such as construction, facility maintenance, or installation
Customer service skills
Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel frequently
Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods
Ability to perform repetitive hand motions
Ability to lift, carry, or push up to 50 pounds
Ability to climb and work from a ladder
Ability to use power tools
Must be at least 21 years of age
Valid driver's license in the state of employment
Driving record meeting CLEAResult’s minimum safety standard
Must pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test
Must consent to a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record
Must maintain a clean driving record for continued employment
Must meet applicable DOT qualification requirements, if applicable
Must comply with applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations, if applicable
Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without employer sponsorship
Must pass pre-employment checks
