About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Meet with commercial and industrial business owners and operators
- Install energy efficiency measures
- Conduct energy efficiency audits
- Perform pre- and post-installation verifications
- Gather technical data throughout a defined territory
- Travel daily throughout the defined territory
- Conduct entry-level commercial energy audits for small and mid-sized facilities
- Explain program offerings to customers and contractors, encourage participation, and address basic questions
- Document inspections, installations, and customer interactions according to program requirements
- Perform on-site installation of energy efficiency measures using basic tools and physical labor
- Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate basic technical or installation issues
- Work in the field servicing customers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in industries such as construction, facility maintenance, or installation
- Customer service skills
- Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel frequently
- Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to perform repetitive hand motions
- Ability to lift, carry, or push up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb and work from a ladder
- Ability to use power tools
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license in the state of employment
- Driving record meeting CLEAResult’s minimum safety standard
- Must pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test
- Must consent to a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record
- Must maintain a clean driving record for continued employment
- Must meet applicable DOT qualification requirements, if applicable
- Must comply with applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations, if applicable
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without employer sponsorship
- Must pass pre-employment checks
