About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct on-site evaluations and engineering analysis of commercial and industrial energy systems to assess demand response potential and overall performance
- Collect, validate, and analyze field data, including load profiles, equipment performance, and operational characteristics
- Apply engineering principles to develop, calculate, and verify baselines, load reductions, and curtailment strategies
- Translate data insights into actionable recommendations to improve program outcomes and customer participation
- Serve as a technical liaison between customers, account managers, and internal engineering teams, providing guidance, training, and support
- Troubleshoot complex systems and resolve issues using analytical, data-driven approaches while ensuring accuracy and integrity of program data
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years of relevant experience in energy engineering, field engineering, or technical energy program delivery
- Associate’s degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience required; Bachelor's degree and background in energy engineering, mechanical/electrical systems, or related field strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience with energy calculations, load analysis, or demand response/energy efficiency programs
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel throughout the territory
- 21+ with a clean valid drivers license
- Reliable vehicle to travel through defined territory
