About the role
- Support project teams with research, data analysis, and documentation related to energy and sustainability initiatives
- Assist with gathering, organizing, and summarizing technical, market, or policy information
- Help prepare reports, presentations, and written deliverables for internal teams and external clients
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with staff on active projects
- Assist with project coordination tasks such as tracking action items, timelines, and deliverables
- Perform ad-hoc analysis or administrative support as needed to advance project goals
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Energy Studies, Environmental Science, Policy, Economics or a related field
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Ability to synthesize information and communicate clearly in writing and presentations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Interest in energy efficiency, decarbonization, or sustainability
- Active enrollment as a 3rd or 4th year pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree with a graduation date no earlier than May/June 2026
- Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) during the summer (early June – early August)
- Based in the Madison area.
