About the role

  • Design, develop, and maintain software supporting Knowledge Graph (KG) systems and tools
  • Maintain and enhance KG platforms using Vine or GENOME tools
  • Write and debug Java and Python code to support mission applications
  • Investigate Splunk logs to monitor system health and detect anomalies
  • Build and maintain data pipelines using NiFi and ElasticSearch
  • Troubleshoot connectivity issues between KG software and hardware systems
  • Support containerized environments using Kubernetes and Docker
  • Interface with relational and non-relational databases including MongoDB, MySQL, and Postgres
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies; collaborate with engineers and analysts to ensure operational success
  • Work on high-visibility DoD cyber programs and complex system integrations

Requirements

  • TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance
  • Twelve (12) years minimum experience and a High School Diploma/GED; Ten (10) years minimum experience and an Associate's Degree; Eight (8) years minimum experience and a Bachelor's Degree; Six (6) years minimum experience and a Master's Degree; Four (4) years minimum experience and a Doctorate's Degree.
  • IAT Level 2 Certification (Security+ CE or equivalent)
  • Experience in Windows and/or Linux
  • Hands-on experience with Vine and/or GENOME KG Tools
  • Strong proficiency in Java and Python
  • Experience using Splunk for log analysis and system monitoring
  • Familiarity with ElasticSearch and Apache NiFi
  • Experience developing and maintaining Java and Python-based applications
  • Comfortable working with large-scale data systems and search engines
  • Knowledgeable in systems integration and troubleshooting across hardware/software boundaries
  • Familiarity with Agile environments and comfortable participating in sprint planning and stand-ups
  • Detail-oriented with strong debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with teammates and stakeholders
  • Nice to have: Experience troubleshooting hardware/software interface issues within KG systems
  • Nice to have: Hands-on experience with MongoDB, Kubernetes, and Docker
  • Nice to have: Background with relational databases such as MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, or Sybase
