About the role
- Plan, develop and maintain automated tests using Cypress with JavaScript/TypeScript
- Ensure coverage of functional, regression and integration tests
- Execute, analyze and report performance, load and stress tests, identifying risks and bottlenecks
- Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps or similar)
- Contribute to the definition of test strategies and acceptance criteria in partnership with Product and Development teams
- Investigate failures, log, track and validate defect fixes in management tools (e.g., Azure Boards)
- Promote quality best practices in agile environments, such as BDD and refinement sessions driven by clear acceptance criteria
- Collaborate on code reviews with a focus on automated tests and code quality
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics, such as test flakiness, defect rate and test suite execution time
Requirements
- Experience with Cypress and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Knowledge of automated testing strategies (UI, API and regression)
- Experience with performance and load testing tools (JMeter, k6, Locust or similar)
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
- Experience with Git and version control
- Knowledge of BDD (Gherkin, Cucumber)
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.)
- Availability to work on-site once a week at the Cidade Jardim office – São Paulo
