About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with Corporate, Regional and Market leadership to drive, plan and track Corporate Operations and Safety Initiatives
Provide project tracking and status updates on Operations / Safety related initiatives
Conduct market follow ups and assist in trouble shooting / problem resolution
Continually review Operational / Safety processes to identify areas of improved efficiencies / cost savings and propose solutions
Partner with Finance to enhance and communicate overall financial reporting and capacity modeling
Assist in interpretation of report findings and identifying areas for improvement
Support the rollout, training, adoption and improvement of new and existing software / systems utilized by Operations teams
Coordinate with Regional Operations Leaders to catalog and share Operational Best Practices
Track and manage vehicle needs including IFTA/IRP management, DOT compliance, and fleet right-sizing

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Operations or Project Management, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to collaborate amongst multiple departments and levels across the organization
Proven work experience as a Project Manager or similar role
Excellent computer skills
Preference in making data-driven decisions
Takes initiative in identifying issues for resolution/improvement
