Panel Saw Operator
ClaytonPanel Saw Operator operating and setting up assigned saws at Clayton Supply Facility. Coordinating production goals, efficiency, and training of co-workers in a teamwork-focused environment.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Effectively promotes teamwork in department.
- Coordinates with production management in regard to daily production goals, efficiency, cleanliness, safety, and training of co-workers.
- Operates and sets up assigned saw(s).
- Inspects products for quality.
- Production reporting is clean accurate and legible.
- Understands and observes all safety policies and procedures.
- Interprets job orders assigned.
- Operates equipment related to these activities and trains workers in equipment operation.
- Reports work progress to the Production Management.
- Coordinates with general laborers.
- Performs other duties as required by management.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and on occasion up to 80 pounds.
- 90% of work to be performed in an outdoor environment subject weather, noise, and dust.
- Ability to read, write, and do basic mathematics.
