About the role

  • Deliver prompt, accurate, courteous sales support via phone, email, text, or chat with Retail leads.
  • Communicate with customers to confirm contact information, timeline to purchase, budgeting goals, land needs, as well as home interests.
  • Help customers begin the buying process and schedule an appointment to visit a Home Center before handing them off to a Clayton Retail Home Center.
  • Excel at building rapport over the phone, generating excitement and urgency with leads and convert leads to Home Center visits.
  • Work with Clayton Development Group to help prospective buyers work with local real estate agents in the purchase of Clayton Real Estate homes.
  • Use sales tools and incentives to encourage return visits.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in Salesforce (Vantage) for proper follow-up.
  • Collaborate with Clayton Development Group to determine final purchase price.
  • Guide home buyers through the sales process and facilitate closing with realtors.
  • Communicate with retailers and realtors as needed for a smooth transaction.
  • Attend Retail meetings to stay updated on promotions and marketing materials.

Requirements

  • Strong telephone, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to meet targeted goals.
  • Experience with Vantage.
  • Availability for evening shifts until 8:00 PM and some Saturdays.
  • Knowledge of state laws and regulations related to home sales.
  • 2+ years of experience in Sales and/or Mortgage Lending.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining high attention to detail.
  • Sense of urgency in managing multiple cases and projects.
  • Strong ability to communicate findings efficiently.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Must pass a criminal background check and post-offer drug screening.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (college degree is a plus).
