About the role
- Oversee a variety of construction projects from start to final completion.
- Coordinate with different teams, contractors, clients, and stakeholders to meet project goals.
- Manage budgets and ensure financial controls for projects.
- Ensure compliance with local and state regulations and schedule city inspections.
- Keep projects on schedule and guide teams toward successful completions.
- Be on job sites to schedule inspections and obtain letters of occupancy for rental units.
- Manage hourly employees to complete final punch list items and close out projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field (PMP certification is a plus).
- Valid Driver’s License and Reliable Vehicle to get to Job Sites (gas card or mileage reimbursement provided).
- 3–5 years of proven experience in project management within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficient in using project management tools and software.
- Nice to have: Experience with Public Private Partnerships (PPP) or similar collaborative projects.
- Nice to have: Knowledge of local and state regulations related to construction projects.
- Nice to have: Familiarity with budgeting and financial management in construction.
- Nice to have: Leadership experience in managing project teams.
