About the role
- Patrol the site by foot or vehicle to ensure safety and prevent unauthorized access
- Enforce rules, control access points, and de-escalate situations with professionalism
- Respond to emergencies, including intoxication, aggression, or medical incidents
- Provide exceptional customer service to the public
- Communicate via two-way radio and write detailed reports on incidents and daily activity
Requirements
- Resident of Nova Scotia
- At least 19 years of age
- Currently lives in Truro or nearby area
- Owns a reliable personal vehicle and valid Driver’s License
- Valid Nova Scotia Security License (or eligible to obtain)
- First Aid & CPR Level C certification (CSA-approved provider)
- Comfortable with physical duties: standing, walking, sitting for extended periods
- English fluency (written and spoken)
- Use of Force (UoF) and MOAB Certification — or willingness to complete company-sponsored training prior to nboarding
- High School Diploma or GED
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
