Key responsibilities & impact

Own the Clasp Finance Roadmap: Set and drive the product strategy for Clasp Finance
Engage Schools as Customers: Work directly with financial aid offices, bursars, treasury teams, and IT leaders at colleges
Own the Borrower Experience: Design application flows, underwriting decisioning experiences, disclosures, co-signer flows, identity verification, and funding processes.
Establish Servicing Oversight Tooling: Define the monitoring, reconciliation, and reporting tools
Partner with Compliance and Legal: Treat regulatory requirements as a design constraint from the outset.

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years in product management, with meaningful time spent on lending, credit, or loan origination products.
Direct experience with origination flows, underwriting, decisioning, identity verification, disclosures, e-sign, and funding.
You can hold both the borrower and the institutional customer in your head at once.
Demonstrated ability to align engineering, compliance, sales, and operations partners around a shared roadmap and drive execution across functions.
Strong verbal and written communication, with the ability to explain complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to leverage both qualitative and quantitative data to inform product decisions.
