Own core functional areas for the HR team including onboarding, off-boarding, benefits, leave programs, immigration, government compliance, payroll, and employee relations.
Maintain and enhance the human resources organization programs through planning, implementing, and continuously evaluating programs and practices
Serve as a sought-after resource to employees at all levels.
Manage employee benefits programs and serving as the point of contact for employee inquiries, claims resolutions, invoicing and improvement recommendations. Also, participating in the financial analysis of all benefit programs.
Administer the various Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) to ensure data integrity and utility of master data
Process various personnel actions and generating reports, which includes handling confidential and sensitive personnel information
Ensure adherence to all federal, state and local employment laws and compliance requirements and filings.
Evaluate results and initiatives for ownership areas to ensure alignment with firm objectives and recommend new approaches, policies, and programs to effect continual improvements in efficiencies and outcomes
Participate in professional development opportunities
Requirements
A minimum of five (5) years prior Human Resources experience, ideally with a professional services firm (e.g., law firm, accounting firm, management consulting)
Experience with benefits and leave programs administration
Strong attention to detail with a proven track record of program and process execution
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, human resource information systems (HRIS), and technology platforms
The ability to handle and work with a high level of confidential material and information with tact and professionalism
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced office environment
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or other related coursework from an accredited college or university
