About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as the product and sales expert for EndNote, with a strong understanding of client workflows, use cases, and value drivers
- Translate customer pain points into solutions, demonstrating how EndNote delivers measurable value
- Achieve/exceed territory sales plan by meeting retention and new business targets (subscription and transactional)
- Forecast accurately to your direct manager with ongoing communication throughout each month
- Work efficiently with customers and leads by following Clarivate’s sales cycle and defined Salesforce processes
- Maintain a strong understanding of competitor products and articulate differentiation strategies
- Build long-term relationships in the academic, government, non-profit, and corporate sectors in North America
- Maintain adequate telephone, email, and MS Teams/WebEx meeting volumes as defined by Sales Management
- Create and update account profiles, actively hunt for new business, provide quotes, set up demonstrations, and book deals in Salesforce.com
- Share customer insights, product knowledge, and sales best practices across the team
- Track performance against clearly defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that are specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and timely
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree (4-year undergraduate) or equivalent relevant work experience
- Microsoft Office Excel
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com, MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), MS Teams, LinkedIn, Power BI, and ZoomInfo
- Background working with universities, publishers, corporations, and government/non-profit organizations engaged in research and discovery
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence platforms
- Salesforce (SFDC) and general CRM experience
