About the role

  • Deliver expert IP law guidance to some of Clarivate’s largest and most complex US-based clients
  • Serve as a critical bridge between clients and internal teams
  • Manage client issues through Salesforce case creation, maintaining a client issues tracker
  • Collaborate closely with other Memotech IP Laws Consultants to deliver timely, comprehensive responses to client inquiries
  • Attend in-person, customer-facing events, conferences, and client visits
  • Draft & test requirements definitions for IP law updates

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree Law, Intellectual Property, or related field or equivalent relevant work experience
  • 7+ years of experience in the intellectual property industry
  • 5+ years of experience with portfolio management software (preferably Memotech), docketing practice, or IP Law calculations
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of Patent rules and procedures of the USPTO, EPO, PCT, WIPO and other national and international governing bodies
  • Experience with IP consulting, or with client management, with the ability to navigate complex & challenging clients’ situations
