About the role
- Extracting the novel scientific information from Polymer patents and value-add using DWPI codes in line with editorial policies for the DERWENT INNOVATION product
- Responsible for indexing/coding Polymer information in patents
- Extract and curate polymer related information such as monomers, catalysts, additives, chemical processes, physical operations and applications of Polymer
- Play an active role in team and maintain awareness of current trends and new developments in Polymer/Chemistry areas
- Adhere to individual and team goals, production targets, and defined quality standards; analyse patents to create value-added content that enhances research value to DWPI products and customers
Requirements
- Must hold a Masters in Chemistry/Polymer science/Organic chemistry/Physical Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry/Inorganic Chemistry (M.Sc.) OR M.Tech/B.Tech in Polymer technology
- Can be a fresher or 1 to 2 years of content experience
- Outstanding English communication skills
- Experience in analyzing and interpreting complex datasets
- Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- It will be great if you also have experience in chemical drawing packages (e.g., ISIS Draw)
