About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the assigned territory and individual account plan coordination
- Influence and motivate others in a matrixed sales organization
- Focus on new and renewal business
- Lead RFP coordination and development as needed
- Manage full portfolio forecast
- Maintain a good working knowledge of products
- Lead content demonstrations
- Manage the overall health of the account
- Ensure client satisfaction and issues are resolved
- Enter leads and new activity into SalesForce.com
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 7+ years of experience as a direct field sales professional
- Experience selling into ed tech or academia accounts
- Experience selling directly to libraries is highly preferred
- Advanced degree in Library Science or related field
- Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and technical troubleshooting tools
- Certifications pertinent to the sales profession
- Previous experiences with Salesforce or similar tools
