About the role
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex 2nd and 3rd-level support issues, primarily within the data center and remote office networking space
- Owning and executing project-based work such as infrastructure upgrades, hardware deployments, and F5 migrations
- Acting as a key escalation point for incident tickets related to networking, load balancing, and firewall issues
- Supporting and maintaining core data center infrastructure including LAN/WAN, wireless networks, and internal core routing
- Integrate new standards, specifications, and technologies into existing processes and methodologies
- Support technology and software development teams and end users with server related questions and issues
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise-level infrastructure and network environments
- Minimum 7 years of experience with F5 and A10 load balancers and Web Application Firewalls (WAF)
- Minimum 7 years of experience with Palo Alto firewalls
- Minimum 7 years of experience with Cisco routing and switching, including routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Experience supporting on-prem data centers
- Experience with F5 migration projects
- A relevant certification (e.g., CCNA, F5-CTS, Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE)
