About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the grants administration process
  • Collate grant applications and check that essential criteria have been met
  • Progress applications to the appropriate grants approval stage
  • Support the in-house grants function and ensure processes run smoothly and efficiently
  • Ensure grant administration complies with regulatory requirements
  • Act as the main point of contact for applicants and grant holders
  • Provide guidance on grants policies and procedures
  • Help resolve issues arising during the grants process
  • Coordinate with grant holders to ensure appropriate use of grants
  • Support reporting on grant spend and performance
  • Ensure compliance issues are addressed
  • Build networks with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong background in processing and analysing grants
  • Experience and knowledge in grants allocation and coordination of processes
  • Preferably experience in the not-for-profit sector
  • Ability to build strong networks with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience working with individual grant holders to ensure appropriate use of grants
  • Ability to support reporting on grant spend and performance
  • Ability to ensure grant compliance requirements are met
  • Substantial experience using web content tools
  • Substantial experience using grants management tools
  • In-depth experience supporting financial and performance reporting
  • Ability to travel across regions as required
