About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Respond to technical support requests, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on IT equipment, ensuring full system functionality.
- Collaborate with IT and operations teams to implement technical solutions and system improvements.
- Provide technical guidance to end users on the proper use of equipment and systems.
- Participate in defining and implementing support policies and procedures, ensuring they align with best practices and regulations.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation related to support activities, ensuring information is up to date and accessible.
- Conduct functionality and security tests on equipment and systems, ensuring they meet established standards.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in technical support and IT equipment maintenance.
- Ensure all support-related activities comply with Claranet's internal policies and regulations.
- Deliver training to end users on the correct use of equipment and systems.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- Certifications: Not mandatory, but desirable in areas such as technical support and hardware maintenance (e.g., CompTIA A+).
- Courses: Experience with courses in technical support, hardware maintenance, and networking.
- Language level: Basic English.
- Specific skills: Basic field support, equipment maintenance, technical documentation.
