About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Elevate the UX: Lead the frontend architecture of our payment systems, ensuring our user interfaces are intuitive, responsive, and robust.
Bridge the Stack: Design, build, and maintain frontend/backend integrations with payment processors and financial infrastructure providers across Latin America.
Build for Resiliency: Write clean, observable, and secure code that handles sensitive financial data with the reliability our clients depend on.
Leverage AI: Use AI tools to automate repetitive engineering workflows, accelerate delivery, and close skill gaps — from scaffolding integrations to generating and reviewing code.
Lead & Mentor: Set the technical bar through code reviews, UI/UX architectural input, and hands-on mentorship of junior and mid-level engineers.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Product, Design, and Backend engineers to translate complex payment workflows into beautiful web solutions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong specialization in Frontend/Web development within a Fullstack context.
Deep commercial experience with React and its modern ecosystem (Hooks, Context API, state management, and testing tools).
Expert knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), responsive enterprise development, and optimizing web application performance.
Practical experience working on backend systems, specifically with Java.
Experience or interest in AI tools to automate workflows throughout the development process (design, coding, debugging).
Working proficiency in English and Spanish or Portuguese (depending on local country language), with excellent verbal and written communication.
Proven role-specific execution and ability to operate independently in fast-changing environments.
