About the role
- Crush sales goals by delivering next-level customer experiences, upselling accessories, and promoting promotions to drive revenue.
- Conduct piercings, educate on aftercare, maintain a sterile environment, and address questions and concerns throughout the process.
- Maintain displays, organized inventory, and easy-to-shop layouts.
- Support the Store Manager by motivating the team, sharing sales tips, and creating a positive, high-energy environment.
- Showcase Claire's products and services and suggest products to boost sales.
- Oversee store operations including managing inventory, handling cash transactions, visual merchandising, and coordinating promotional activities.
- Encourage customers to share their purchases and piercings on social media to create viral moments.
Requirements
- You can conduct piercings and demonstrate patience and empathy, particularly with young or anxious customers.
- You are proficient in operating a POS system to facilitate transactions and manage sales efficiently.
- You have completed some high school.
- You have at least one year of retail management experience.
- At least one year of retail experience, ideally with some leadership or sales-driving responsibility.
- You can stand during scheduled shifts and maneuver 11-35kg (25-75lbs).
- You can bend, stoop, extended reaching, and climb ladders or step stools while placing merchandise throughout the store and assisting customers.
- You are passionate about providing our customers with opportunities to express themselves freely every day.
- You are energized by interacting with customers and strive to provide excellent service throughout their visit.
- You are inspired by our values of teamwork, compassion, integrity, customer delight, diversity, and self-expression.
- You have strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers, employees, and management.
- You possess a strong grasp of mathematics, essential for tasks such as inventory management, sales analysis, and cash handling.

- You’re self-motivated and organized, as some of our stores may require you to work alone at times.
- You show a passion for fashion and stay up to date with the latest trends.
