About the role
- Crush sales goals by delivering next-level customer experiences, upselling accessories, and promoting promotions to drive revenue.
- Conduct piercings following training, educate on aftercare, maintain a sterile environment, and address questions and concerns throughout the process.
- Maintain store displays, organized inventory, and easy-to-shop layouts; perform visual merchandising.
- Support Store Manager by motivating the team, sharing sales tips, and fostering a positive, high-energy environment.
- Represent Claire's brand; stay current on fashion and social media trends to assist customers and boost sales.
- Oversee store operations including inventory management, cash transactions, visual merchandising, and coordinating promotional activities.
- Encourage customers to share purchases and piercings on social media to create shareable moments.
Requirements
- You can conduct piercings and demonstrate patience and empathy, particularly with young or anxious customers.
- Proficient in operating a POS system to facilitate transactions and manage sales efficiently.
- Completed some high school.
- At least one year of retail management experience.
- At least one year of retail experience, ideally with some leadership or sales-driving responsibility.
- Ability to stand during scheduled shifts and maneuver 11-35kg (25-75lbs).
- Ability to bend, stoop, extended reaching, and climb ladders or step stools while placing merchandise and assisting customers.
- Passionate about providing customers opportunities to express themselves freely every day.
- Energized by interacting with customers and strive to provide excellent service throughout their visit.
- Inspired by values of teamwork, compassion, integrity, customer delight, diversity, and self-expression.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers, employees, and management.
- Possess a strong grasp of mathematics, essential for tasks such as inventory management, sales analysis, and cash handling.

- Self-motivated and organized; able to work alone at times in some stores.
