About the role
- Develops an understanding of each client’s business/organization operations.
- Leads coordination and processing of accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts and posting/recording of payroll transactions.
- Coordinates and reviews account reconciliations.
- Completes complex account reconciliations.
- Prepares, understands, and reviews financial statements.
- Reviews general ledger, cashflow, allocations.
- Proactively creates process and procedure documentation.
- Completes sales tax returns and Form 1099s and prepares audit workpapers.
- Oversees workflow and quality of work of Associates and Analysts.
- Assists with projects for internal audit, due diligence, system selection, and other consultative projects.
Requirements
- 2 years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience is required.
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.
