About the role

  • Establish strong relationships with leaders and campus teams and execute CLA campus strategies.
  • Identify candidates through full recruitment, screening, interviewing, and dispositioning current or recently graduated college/university students to fill intern/associate positions.
  • Build and foster relationships with students throughout their campus career.
  • Inform candidates of job duties, responsibilities, work schedules, compensation/benefits packages, and career advancement opportunities.
  • Gain exposure to how we develop creative and innovative strategies to identify and engage candidates.
  • Act as a brand ambassador by representing CLA on campus and within the community; position the organization as an employer of choice.
  • Recommend ideas that contribute to the one family approach to campus recruiting.
  • Build and manage talent pipelines, delivering consistent student experiences, elevating CLA’s campus presence, and providing committed hire outreach.
  • Plan and attend campus recruiting events, including career fairs, on-campus interviews, student presentations, and networking events.
  • Collaborate with universities and communities to engage with students in such a way that is appealing to them.
  • Develop communication plans with potential candidates.
  • Work with Talent Management Coordinators on CLA's onboarding and communication strategy with committed hires and ensure continued excitement about their future careers.
  • Create and maintain relationships with local leaders, campuses, campus organizations, internal campus teams, and others.
  • Foster and maintain year-round relationships with key target schools/universities, career centers, professors, and student organizations to maintain CLA brand name recognition.
  • Maintain an understanding of Office of Federal Contract Compliance (OFCCP) and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) guidelines in sourcing, interviewing, and keeping information up to date in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Work with leaders to ensure hiring compliance.

Requirements

  • One year of relevant experience in recruiting or a related field required.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR or LinkedIn Certified Professional Recruiter preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Workday and/or other HRIS systems; experience with Handshake and other recruiting platforms preferred.
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to/from university campuses.
  • This position requires frequent local travel to/from university campuses as well regular (>20%) overnight, non-local travel.
