Vice President, Tax
CKS Packaging IncVP of Tax Operations leading enterprise-wide tax function in North America. Overseeing compliance, planning, and risk management across domestic and international entities.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee global tax compliance, including corporate, indirect, and international tax filings
- Lead quarterly and annual tax provision processes under ASC 740 and IFRS standards
- Develop and execute global tax strategies to optimize effective tax rate and cash flow
- Manage relationships with external advisors, auditors, and tax authorities
- Monitor legislative changes and assess impact on global operations
- Lead transfer pricing strategy, documentation, and audit defense
- Drive automation and process improvements using tax technology platforms
- Support M&A due diligence, structuring, and post-acquisition integration
- Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Treasury on cross-functional initiatives
- Mentor global tax teams and foster a culture of accountability and innovation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 10–15+ years of progressive tax experience, including global operations
- Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, international tax regimes, and transfer pricing
- Experience with tax provision and compliance software
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and drive strategic outcomes
