About the role

  • Specialize in tax accounting, understanding tax groups, legal entity and consolidated tax reporting using tax software
  • Own the Preparation of Deferred Taxation Verification packages for non-US entities
  • Prepare and review US GAAP to Statutory Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Perform Statutory Accounts to Taxation reconciliations and ensure accuracy of local filings
  • Manage Deferred Tax balances and supporting schedules
  • Handle tax group payable arrangements, intercompany journal entries, and related eliminations
  • Prepare and review year-end tax provision calculations under the US GAAP framework
  • Provide ongoing support to the US Corporate Tax Reporting team
  • Collaborate with Financial Controllers and local finance teams to resolve tax-related queries
  • Continuously improve tax accounting processes, implementing efficiencies and automation where possible

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance
  • 3+ years Financial Accounting experience (including journal processing and reconciliations)
  • Fluency in English (Written & Verbally)
  • Good MS Office skills, especially in using Excel
  • SAP Knowledge is plus
  • Ability to work independently and within a team, with people of different cultures
  • Problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills with proactive, supportive and positive approach
  • Inner drive for accuracy and meeting deadline
