People and Talent Acquisition Adviser – 6 month Fixed Term Contract
CiviteqPeople and Talent Acquisition Adviser managing recruitment and HR support at Civiteq. Overseeing onboarding and promoting inclusive hiring practices in a fully remote role.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from role scoping and advertising to interviews, offers and onboarding.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand needs, develop job descriptions and advise on sourcing strategies.
- Screen applications, conduct initial interviews and support impactful selection processes.
- Create a candidate experience built around what matters most, people.
- Maintain recruitment records and metrics within our ATS (Workable) and produce reports as required.
- Build and manage relationships with external recruitment partners.
- Play a key role in promoting and developing Civiteq’s EVP and employer brand.
- Own and continuously improve our onboarding experience to ensure consistency and quality for new colleagues.
- Support employee lifecycle administration (starters, changes, leavers).
- Contribute to People Team activities including policy reviews, reporting and engagement initiatives.
- Help deliver key elements of the People Plan.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in internal recruitment or talent acquisition.
- Strong track record of managing multiple roles, including both permanent and contractor hiring.
- Experience hiring specialist roles (e.g. change, project management, technical SMEs).
- Confidence advising hiring managers and influencing decisions.
- HR administrative or generalist experience within a People/HR function.
- Understanding of the public sector landscape and networks in this space.
- Experience in consultancy, professional services or a high‑growth environment.
- Familiarity with Workable and BambooHR (or similar ATS/HRIS platforms).
