About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from role scoping and advertising to interviews, offers and onboarding.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand needs, develop job descriptions and advise on sourcing strategies.
  • Screen applications, conduct initial interviews and support impactful selection processes.
  • Create a candidate experience built around what matters most, people.
  • Maintain recruitment records and metrics within our ATS (Workable) and produce reports as required.
  • Build and manage relationships with external recruitment partners.
  • Play a key role in promoting and developing Civiteq’s EVP and employer brand.
  • Own and continuously improve our onboarding experience to ensure consistency and quality for new colleagues.
  • Support employee lifecycle administration (starters, changes, leavers).
  • Contribute to People Team activities including policy reviews, reporting and engagement initiatives.
  • Help deliver key elements of the People Plan.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience in internal recruitment or talent acquisition.
  • Strong track record of managing multiple roles, including both permanent and contractor hiring.
  • Experience hiring specialist roles (e.g. change, project management, technical SMEs).
  • Confidence advising hiring managers and influencing decisions.
  • HR administrative or generalist experience within a People/HR function.
  • Understanding of the public sector landscape and networks in this space.
  • Experience in consultancy, professional services or a high‑growth environment.
  • Familiarity with Workable and BambooHR (or similar ATS/HRIS platforms).
