About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and build end-to-end features, covering everything from database models to user-facing components using React
Tackle a variety of areas: web and mobile applications, mapping interfaces, data processing pipelines, algorithmic relevancy, and real-time collaboration tools
Profile and tune performance across the entire stack to ensure efficient and responsive systems
Implement and maintain analytics, health monitoring, alerts, and logging to maintain operational visibility and system reliability

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience working with JavaScript or TypeScript, particularly with Node.js (or equivalent frameworks)
1+ years of experience working with React
Start Up Ready: Autonomous, moves fast, takes initiative without being asked
Experience working on a SaaS product
Postgres experience is a plus
Familiarity with geospatial frameworks (PostGIS, GeoJSON, map rendering libraries, etc.) is also a plus
Conduct code reviews and offer constructive feedback to help grow the team’s technical capabilities
Strong verbal and written communication, able to articulate ideas clearly and collaborate effectively
A degree in Computer Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field (B.S. or M.S.)
